The feature-packed, well-organized Preferences window lets you alter the speed, spire length, and flame intensity, change the wind direction, and choose how quickly the flames fade out on exit. You can launch the screensaver with the system-tray icon or a hot key. Pressing the Enter key captures a picture of your desktop without exiting the screensaver. We think Fantastic Flame Screensaver is a great download for novelty value alone, and though it's a bit pricey at $20, its outstanding features and slick execution make it an attractive buy.
